This is a poster and social media design for a Fiesta hosted by the pastor of the ESUMC (English-speaking United Methodist Church) in Prague. My pastor wanted to send a welcoming invitation to some college students, prompting them to come for Mexican food, games, and fellowship. I initially did research about the event and target audience. I then drew sketches for the poster and social media designs. I explored several options before coming to my final design choices. I created the guacamole and chips graphic for the poster, to further enhance the Fiesta theme, and to give my audience an idea of what to expect from this event. Additionally, the graphic adds instant interest to the designs. I used warm colors in my designs to make the viewer feel welcomed, and a lively font for the title to show that the event is meant to be informal and fun.
